Myofascial Deep Tissue.

Why Choose LA Body Points for your Myofascial Treatment:

Each of our Body Specialists receive advance training in highly effective Lower back and neck myofascial techniques to ensure you get results after just one treatment. This training seminar includes quadratus lumborum and multifidi stretching for the two largest lower back muscles that are most often the cause of pain. We also go over what is called active movement stretching where you move with the stretch to see maximum results in your neck's range of motion with the deep tissue treatment.

What do YOU Want? Knowledge Results Value

We've Got It

Myofascial Deep tissue focuses on stretching the connective tissue known as fascia and aiming to release the chronic patterns of tension in the body through slow strokes and deep finger pressure on the contracted areas going across the fiber of the muscles, tendons and fascia. Generally done in a series of ten treatments to stretch the fascia throughout the body and incorporate movement from the client to get the maximum stretch for each particular body part.

Helps to break up and eliminate scar tissue by focusing on a couple specific areas with each treatment. It is both corrective and therapeutic. The pressure is only done to the clients muscle’s point of resistance and the strokes are extremely slow so the muscle ‘gives way’ and relaxes. “Deep” doesn’t necessarily mean “hard.” With the proper technique, muscles deep in the body can be reached with a minimum of pressure.

Some soreness during or right after the massage is not uncommon; however, if the bodywork is done correctly you should feel better than ever within a day or two.
You will see amazing results if you have any of the following: herniated disks, treatment of lower back pain, shoulder tension, TMJ, tendonitis, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, rotator cuff problems, neck stiffness, sciatica and much more!

"After not being able to make it to work because the hour and a half drive killed my sciatica. After limping because the pain in my foot from plantar fasciitis was excruciating. After not being able to play golf because the pain in my lower back wouldn't allow me to turn. I had one session with Kendra and the pain in my back and sciatic was completely gone. I was going to get 8 laser treatments on my foot by my doctor when after only 2 sessions with Kendra, my plantar fasciitis was so much better!" ~ Howard B., Deep Tissue
